Group Red Cross Learn-to-Swim lessons are available June 3rd-14th, June 17th–29th, July 8th-19th, and August 5th-16th.
Levels 1-6 will have a minimum of 8 classes. Should more than 2 class dates get canceled due to weather, make-up dates will be scheduled. Caps have been placed on the number of students per class to ensure the safety of swimmers and to improve the effectiveness of the instruction. Students must be 5 years old as of June 1 to enroll in a Level 1 course, unless they have passed a Pre-K swimming lesson.
Private swimming lessons are available for those children and adults who prefer a one-on-one teaching situation. Private lessons are scheduled in 30-minute time slots. Times will vary and will be worked out with the instructor at a later date. Five lessons will be scheduled.
Parent/Child Aquatics is a program for ages 6 months to about 3 years. Designed to give young children a head start with swimming. Great for children to get comfortable in the water and begin to work on basic skills while interacting with the instructor and other children in a fun and safe environment.
